de a career playing muscular action heros. Brad is good but here he's outshined by Alan Steel (Sergio) who, eh, steals the spotlight whenever he's on screen. The story is meandering and really not that good but the film does boast several amazing fight scenes between Samson and Hercules (named Mills
tone in this dub!). Their scenes together are definitely the highlights. The two seem to compete with each other on who can display more upskirt action! The first fight in the cave is really good, one of the best in any Peplum. It's so good that the film should just have been a 90 minute long figh
t between the two muscular actors and it would have been better than the current script. There's another fight between the two Herculean men and also a sword test. The villain is played to slimy perfection by none other than legendary French singer/songwriter Serge Gainsbourg, which adds much neede
d color to the generic action film. This film was shot back to back with Fury of Hercules. It's not a sequel but feels like it because it's nearly identical to this film except Harris plays Hercules. The entire cast is identical, including Alan Steel but he plays a villain, along with Gainsbourg.
Same director, same sets! Very confusing. Enjoy!
